Vintage 2023
2023 was a continuation of cooler and wetter weather that had commenced in early 2020. There was plenty of moisture in the ground during spring to support budburst and flowering. The ripening period was warm and dry, however rainfall during March slowed down the final stages of ripening.

Vintage 2021
2021 vintage got off to a strong start due to above-average rainfall in the early months of 2020, which contributed to good supplies of ground-held water for the growing season. The summer was relatively mild, with the daily maximum temperature exceeding 35.0 degrees on only 5 occasions. The vines held their leaves, and the fruit quality was excellent.

Vintage 2022
2022 was an excellent vintage, taking place during a period of 2-3 years of relatively cooler and wetter weather. There was plenty of moisture in the ground during Spring to support budburst and flowering. Summer was drier with moderate temperatures, which enabled the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly.

Vintage 2020
The 2020 vintage experienced two distinct climactic phases. Winter and Spring of 2019 were relatively dry. A heat wave in October 2019 disrupted flowering, which led to significantly lowered yields. In January 2020 the situation reversed; there was good rain which supported the vines to maintain healthy leaves and the fruit ripened very well. Ultimately yields were very low at harvest, but fruit quality was exceptional.

Vintage 2019
2019 was a relatively warm and dry ripening season, with two significant rain events, in November and December 2018 which supplied sufficient water to ripen the vines through January and February 2019 harvest period. The harvest yields were lower than normal; however, the flavours were very good.

Vintage 2018
2018 had a relatively dry ripening season, resulting in relatively lower yields but very good quality. Smaller berries mean higher skin to juice ratio, therefore the vines gave up great colour and natural tannins. The dry weather meant that minimal spraying for pests and diseases was required, so the fruit was free from chemical intervention.
