Join Textile Designer Natalie Ryan for a three-hour watercolour workshop where participants will explore drawing and composition, mixing colours, and the wet-on-wet watercolour painting technique. Participants will be encouraged to utilise locally sourced pigments from our Estate, combined with traditional watercolour paints to create a unique botanical artwork.
Enjoy the afternoon with a glass of award-winning wine from Silver Spoon Estate, with afternoon tea and refreshments included. A presentation of Natalie’s journey over the past 3 months of her Residency program will also be showcased on the day.
Natalie’s watercolour artwork inspired by the rich history and surrounding landscape of the Silver Spoon Estate will be displayed alongside her digitally printed (natural fibre) fabric meterage.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and for those wanting to refresh their skills. The workshop subject matter will be Eucalyptus leaves foraged from the Silver Spoon Estate landscape.
